Geological expertise
Senior geological experience covering regional and site-scale geological mapping, terrain mapping over areas of 185–220 km², engineering geological mapping and photogeological interpretation, led by a registered Professional Geologist with over three decades of practice.
Soil investigation expertise
Soil investigation for buildings, roads, rail and industrial facilities; foundation assessment; slope investigation and slope repair studies for federal roads and hillside development.
Geophysical expertise
Seismic refraction and reflection, resistivity, transient electromagnetic and VLF methods, down-the-hole logging and gravity survey, applied to groundwater exploration, rockhead profiling and cavity detection.
Hydrogeological expertise
Groundwater potential studies, test and production well drilling and construction, and long-running monitoring well programmes for environmental and industrial clients.
Field operations
Drilling, coring, probing, sampling, instrument installation and site supervision carried out by SGE machine operators, supervisors and site staff using company-owned equipment.
